SNEAK PEEK: Christensen & Sigersen Debut

Friday, February 02, 2007

Just this past week online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter threw a huge party in London for Helena Christensen and her business partner, Leif Sigersen, to celebrate the debut of their clothing collection, Christensen & Sigersen, which will be sold exclusively via Net-a-Porter this spring. Although this hot new clothing line won't be available for purchase until March, our friends over at Net-a-Porter were kind enough to give us a few "sneak peek" photos of what we can expect from Christensen & Sigersen.

According to Net-a-Porter, elements of the collection verge towards a vintage farmer-style: simple cotton and knit pieces that are great for layering. They come in mainly natural, neutral colors: variations of white, antique beiges and warm grey-brown tones-- hues that are inspired by the Danish weather and nature. The collection also features bursts of color, such as the "Clown Dress" (below left), in bright green lace and pink silk ribbon, worn over a yellow slip. The line will be for sale exclusively via Net-a-Porter in March, and prices range from about $140 for a cotton shirt to about $530 for a silk dress. Check back here in March for more photos and links to where you can purchase items from the Christensen & Sigersen debut line.
