Courreges A-Line Dress

Available at:

In the grand tradition of Libertine for Target and Karl Lagerfeld for H&M, yet another affordable fashion line has gone the way of the designer capsule collection. I hereby anoint this the decade of couture for the masses.

French designer Andre Courreges, best known for uber-modern fashions and practically inventing both the mini skirt and go-go boots, was the designer of the mid '60s. Although mod was his triumph, the House of Courreges hasn't stopped producing fabulous fashions since it's inception in 1961.

Courreges Glossy Leather Heels

Available at:

The latest House of Courreges project? A 6-piece capsule collection for the trendy and tres affordable French fashion purveyor La Redoute. The mini-collection features a skirt, jacket, top, dress, pumps, and a tote-- all in coordinating red on white. The best pieces are easily the oh-so-Courreges mod, a-line dress and the classic red patent leather pumps. Stunning, really.
