New & Hot: Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

--By Jules Newmark

So you’re driving along, going to work, catching up with your friends on the East coast and boom... the flash of red and blue lights. “What on Earth could I have been doing?” you ask yourself. Wake up California! It’s illegal to drive while talking on the phone without using a hands-free device. I wonder if the cell phone companies who are manufacturing these new devices made a deal with the legislature to pass the law for increased sales since this seems so crazy?! Well, not only cell phone companies are buying into this new need. Check out Jawbone.com.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Not only is this device sleek, but it really plays up a defined jaw line as well (I’m thinking the Jawbone is the cinched waist?). Jawbone, which is a Bluetooth device with touch technology, is being sold in a few Barney’s, upscale boutiques and in AT&T stores, for around $129. My favorite part of the product is the improved hearing capability. The unique feature of a Voice Activity Sensor (VAS) distinguishes the sound of your voice from background noise... but what happens when you’re listening to talk radio and blabbering away? With multiple colors (Goldy Lips, Blah Blah Black and Silver Tongue), this chic bluetooth makes driving handsfree a little easier to swallow. If you’re the person driving as I first described, show your ticket to the Jawbone.com people and get a discount!
