Embellishments are a great way to intensify a look and just add some sparkle to jeans and a plain tee. Extra blingy and bold accessories save my life when I don’t feel like wearing something fancy, but know I need to look a bit more glam for an occasion. This is where extra embellishments act as a best friend in a time of need. Much to my dismay, I know some ladies who desperately need to update their embellishments or just add some in their closets. So, I have found a couple smaller embellishments that can definitely spice up a look.

My first pick are chandelier type earrings with an elaborate look. The stones on these Banana Republic Ornate Shield Earrings are slightly different colors, but they blend harmoniously to create a sophisticated look. I like these earrings because they are a neutral color that will go with any outfit, but bold enough to stand out and create an audience. These sassy earrings can be worn with a dress, or with jeans and any color t-shirt.

My next pick is a hot, super bold Enamel Brooch Necklace from Arden B. Anything with pearls screams classy and therefore, I love this necklace! The mix of black and white enamel and rhinestone flowers makes this necklace feminine and flirty. Although it is a bigger heavier looking necklace, the intricacy of the flowers and rhinestones soften the look of the necklace. This necklace is also something that can be worn with many different color combinations. Investing in accessories that you can wear without having to dwell over whether it matches is a major plus.

My last recommendation is a fun-loving, hip pair of peep toe stilettos by Betsey Johnson. These Roxxy Shoes are wild and sexy and will add a lot of spunk to some Capris or rolled up denim in order to show off the hot look of the shoe. I love the black with the gold trim. The sparkly ball on top of these shoes is what gives them the edgy, dramatic look that put them on my must have list. These shoes can also be worn with a black cocktail dress to give it the polished look, plus the extra bling.

All three of the accessories that I recommended are on sale, making them a hot commodity. Although they are all smaller items, they do and will make a huge difference when worn with simple pieces, making them stand out more. The amazing part is how much they can turn your outfit around and create a distinguished look. But, make sure not to over-embellish. These items are already sassy enough, going overboard by pairing them with more sparkly and bold items can turn your look from classy to trashy.
