Trendy fashions really make the industry move from season to season - I mean, think of all the people who copy an item and make it more affordable and so on and so on. In these economic times, it looks like those copies are flying off the shelves - that is, if they haven't been shut down. Been to Canal Street in NYC lately? Or maybe Santee Alley in LA? Both are Meccas for Louis Vuitton bags and Gucci... everything, but have been cracked down on more and more. But what else is copied... oh yes, expensive perfume!

How about the infamous Calvin Klein CK One? You're still wearing it? Now that's a trendy designer item that lasts!! Well the designer label has brought it back to coincide with Obama's election and campaign for change and unity. CK launched TV ads on the same day in January as the inauguration of the new President. The new motto, 'We are One' is backed by not only the air of people coming together right now in America, but also by musician British Jamie Burke, who's song canvases the campaign. "This is a celebration of the power of coming together as one," says Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty Prestige. The song can also be downloaded for free - which they hope will help people personally relate to CK One. Sounds like they're going big, why not, it's one chance!
If you haven't by now seen the ads with Burke and a variety of models shot by the amazing Steven Miesel, go to CKOne.com and see if you've finally found the best fragrance for you! The bottle is also a limited edition version [top left] that fits into a cool MP3 speaker base. Join the movement for change, but stay true to a classic... CK One might just be the thing your wardrobe needs in 2009!
