On runways everywhere you can count on seeing the chain link bag making a louder comeback. I mean all the big names, including Gucci, are embracing this trend by taking full advantage of chains in every aspect of the word. I’m seeing purses that look like they’re an exploding chain link volcano. Who knew? Bottom line: chain link purses are the hottest thing around!

A chain link bag detail takes away from your outfit, but you have to accessorize less and let the bag speak for itself! There are chain bags covered with studs and punk rock symbols, but I’m going to be featuring some more sophisticated bags that draw from this chain phenomena. My product highlights are less loud, but carry the same oomph in a simpler package. Remember, less is more…

Surprisingly, I was able to find some great deals on chain link bags that are adorable. I didn’t get into some of the edgier bags because they tend to be less wearable for most ladies, and less wearable to most functions. If you’re going to invest in a semi-new fashion trend/piece, you might as well buy something as versatile as possible.

I love high-end designer bags. Not too sound snooty, but I showed interest at a young age and started accumulating as many lovely ones as I could. But, with the recent dive in the economy, I have gained so much appreciation for well made bags that make the cut as much as some designer brands. I guess there is always a blessing in disguise in everything that happens!

My first bag is from Nine West-- the Ranya Small Flap Bag. It’s a spacious bag, but it’s small enough to carry out in the evening. I really like the simplicity of this bag! The strap is a gold link chain with three color options. There is Brown, Grey, and basic Black. There is a u-shaped chain design around the front closure that gives it a smooth, classy look. The bag’s dynamic flows well, and is perfect for the gal who likes to keep up with fashion, but doesn’t necessarily define herself as trendy.

This next bag is from the HSN network site-- so random! I love it! I think the front closure on this Elliott Lucca Starla shoulder bag is bold and makes a powerful statement. The bag has a lot of presence. I could see this looking great with some jeans and a cotton shirt, because it doesn’t require much to get this bag attention. But, the positive thing is that it can also be worn with a sexy dress and not look like you went overboard. There is nothing worse than looking like you tried to hard.

Lastly, I have the best deal. You may not be getting the best quality bag, but what do you expect for under $13! I mean this bag is so cute! It’s my favorite color combination of black and white. The Angie & Lola Printed Satchel is a flower pattern that doesn’t strain the eye. The bag has a shoulder strap in case you get clutched out after the summer season. Just skip lunch one day-- make it instead, and buy this bag-- it’s worth it!
