Over the years I have gotten a lot of experience in the hair department. Experimenting with different hair dos and hair colors has forced me to rely heavily on hair accessories to get through the bad days. When there is a hair jam, I’m quick to grab a flower or a cute head band to help keep my frizzy hair pulled back and tamed for the day. It’s nice to have immediate access to a little piece of material that makes it possible to turn my day upside down and make me look fabulous and hip. Whether you think they're too girly or not, hair pins and headbands are affordable and easy to find. No matter what your fashion style is you’ll be able to wear them out and learn to embrace them.

Usually I go from subtle to very flashy when I am highlighting products, but in this case I’m going to switch it up. If you have a big night out or are dressed down and want to spice it up on a bad (or good) hair day try this lovely Tasha ‘Icy Petals’ Headband. The Icy Petals headband has faceted stones with glitzy bling that forms flower petals. The flower looks gorgeous on top of a silk band-- nothing like frosting on your hair on a warm summer day. But, you’ll be looking anything but cool with this uber sexy and fun headband.

Next up I am featuring a Stone and Print Headband from Bebe that’s to die for! I love the color combination of electric blue and pink-- too fun! This is a retro-inspired headband that is bright enough to wear by itself. The shiny stones are on a wide headband that arches the crown of your head in a boho summer style. The round oval and square dots add a lot of dimension and spunk to the hair.

Ever aspired to be a salsa dancer? If the answer is yes then you may want to spend the price of a happy meal on the French Kiss Rose Hair Clip. The festive red rose deserves to be flaunted with its gorgeous deep color and incredible sass. I think this would look wonderful in a sophisticated bun or a messy do off to the side. Whatever you decide, you’ll sure be the talk of the setting.
