This month's edition of In Style magazine jewelry showcased pearls that combine chains and spikes. These pearls flirt with danger and I like it. Their feature impressed me and since pearls are always a staple, I thought it was great idea to round up some of my favorite bad girl pearl combinations. The idea of pairing pearls with edgier accent pieces makes a seductive fashion statement.

My first showcase is from Francesca’s Collections. This stacked ring is for the entry level gal who wants the feminine look without the excessive roughness. The ring has three bands: the main band has grey faux pearls with shimmering rhinestones and two surrounding shiny bands accent the main ring.

Betsey Johnson loves to create spiky, edgy jewelry so I had no doubt that she would get it done. This edgy, thick chain pearl necklace has multiple chain strands with faux white pearls and a slight feminine touch with bowties that tidy up the two sides of the necklace.

The Givenchy Vanguard small glass pearl earrings are hot! They will look rockin’ with pulled back hair and smoky eye make-up. The chain wraps around the glass stones and faux pearls. The combination gives it a provocative vibe to a rather classic drop style. I wouldn’t snooze on this purchase.

Givenchy does it again with another Vanguard glass pearl jewelry piece, but this one is a bracelet that incorporates the same edginess. The chunky chains parallel and surround a line of faux pearls and thinner chains. I love the punky-yet-classic cuff design.

Finally, I want to introduce the fun pearl Bauble bracelet from Banana Republic. The piece has an adorable bracelet that has a little feistiness to it because of the pearls all over a thick chain bracelet. This is a staple piece that can be worn alongside other, more conservative pearl bracelets. When worn with other simple bracelets, this piece can be the shining star on your wrist that livens your boring pieces. This is a great way to get use out of your unexciting pieces and bold-ify your look for the coming up fall season.
