Get Your Swim Style at the Old Navy Swim Sale

Thursday, June 14, 2012

It's official, ladies. Summer is here, and that means it's time to stock up on swimsuits. I know, I know. Swimsuit shopping isn't anyone's favorite thing to do, but I have a little secret that makes the whole think more bearable.

For years I've been buying my swimsuits at Old Navy. The combination of amazingly affordable prices and a huge range of styles, cuts and colors means that you really can create a whole wardrobe of swimwear. Plus, the mix-and-match system, where you purchase your top and bottom separately, helps to create a perfect fitting suit no matter how you are shaped.

This summer, I'm looking forward to lots of trips, which means planning ahead for a swim style that is both trip-appropriate and will be exactly what I'm loving right at the moment it's time to pull on the suit. Packing a few of Old Navy's fun, affordable suits is the perfect solution. With many styles ready to go at a moment's notice, it's easy to pick a suit according to your mood, whether it's a string bikini day or a maillot day (you know what I'm talking about).

This year, I'm all about the classic swim style -- solid colors and sleek cuts that can be accessorized with cover-ups and flip-flops to create all sorts of new looks. I'll be adding both brights -- like juicy orange and sunny yellow -- to my mix, along with neutral blacks and browns. With the Old Navy swim sale running through June 27, now's definitely the time to stock up! Most pieces are just $10 to $12!
