Blinc Liquid Eyeliner
Over the years, I have found that liquid eyeliner should have a great grip and a lasting bold color. When Blinc eyeliner sent me its product to review, I jumped at the opportunity because intensifying my eyes is my favorite make up ritual. Eyeliner is part of my daily routine and I was curious to see if Blinc eyeliner could make the cut and become one of my few recommended eyeliners for my peers.

Blinc eyeliner likes to differentiate itself from other eyeliners. It claims that it is water-resistant and smudge-free, so I set out to test its claims by wearing the eyeliner to the gym. Although I never wear eyeliner to the gym, because I always laugh at other women who wear full make up while exercising, I made an exception because I was on a mission for a good cause. From the Sephora website:

Blinc Liquid Eyeliner is the first and only liquid eyeliner that forms a water-resistant layer of color that binds to the lash line to provide a dramatic look and unparalleled hold. A lot of warm water and gentle pressure is all it takes for Blinc Liquid Eyeliner to peel off effortlessly (like a second skin) without leaving any residue.

I noticed the eyeliner stayed nice and dark throughout my entire workout but it did slightly smudge on my right eye. However, the smudge did not bother me as much as Blinc’s applicator.

The applicator was awkwardly small. Every time I tried to apply it to my lashes, the liquid ran all over my fingers. Although I liked the bold and black color that the eyeliner created, I do not believe the color was worth all the mess that the applicator created.

In the end, I was able to remove the eyeliner easier than any other eyeliner I have ever tried, which was a pleasant surprise and a heavenly treat. Blinc is correct when it claims that the eyeliner slides right off and the removal process did not rip my lashes or rub my eye.

Overall, I wouldn’t go out and purchase this product. The messy applicator overrides its positive traits. If you want to try it for yourself and see if you can apply it neatly, then check it out because you will benefit from its easy slide off removal.
