For Fall 2013, Isabel Marant will apply her Parisian chic sensibility to a wardrobe of items for women and teens that are inspired by her signature style. The collection will be available starting November 14, 2013 in 250 stores worldwide, as well as online.
Plus, as an extra special bonus, Isabel will also be creating her very first collection for men!
Speaking about the upcoming collaboration, Isabel Marant had this to say:
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality"New to the world of Isabel Marant? There’s time to get up to speed before the collection drops. The basics… Isabel was born and raised in Paris, and started customizing her own clothes as a teen. She graduated from Studio Berçot, and worked her way up through the fashion ecosystem starting with a jewelry line and then expanding to her eponymous label in 1994.
Today, her instantly recognizable mix of masculine tailoring, French street chic, and bohemian flair is internationally successful.
