3 Reasons to Fall in Love with Pointy Shoes All Over Again

Pointy shoes are back with a sharp vengeance, and more flair. Whether they are simple, accompanied by a tassel, or in fun patterns, the pointy shoe never loses its elegance or its fierce, intimidating look.

Very few shoes can polish your overall look, or exude sophistication, like a pointy shoe. Although there is a time and place to them wear them, the pointy shoe seems to be popping up in fashion circles more than ever. We’ve even seen celebrities wear them at cocktail parties.

Even if you are not a fan, try it before you snub the trend. But, remember this tip: when it comes to the pointy trend, it is smarter to go for softer leathers to avoid suffocating your toes. Otherwise, unless you have slender feet, pointy shoes can feel uncomfortable.

My first feature is a color block success. Its pointy toe heel and its color combo options are marvelous. This shoe comes in two color options: the black/white option and the beige/orange option. Both color options give this sexy platform shoe an alluring appeal. The reptile embossed trim helps this shoe live up to its dashing, tall reputation.

I never bypass Nordstrom when I’m looking for a specific shoe. They always seem to have the classic styles with a new twist. For example, this silver imprinted leather shoe is a quarter strap pump and it comes from Italy. You can’t beat its sassy style and gorgeous versatile silver color.

This is a great shoe to pair with summer dresses and capris, and others will think you seem more carefree and casual when you expose the back part of your foot.

I think one of the most comfortable shoe brands is Stuart Weitzman. The quality is unbelievable. I have about 30 pair and I love them because they last for a long time. Whenever I redo their soles, or line the insides after a lot of wear, they always turn out as good as new.

However, Stuart Weitzman doesn’t always keep up with the latest trends as quickly as it should. Perhaps it’s a good thing when you are looking for a classic pump. But, I did find a sassy pair for this summer that will transition better for the upcoming fall. Check out this pointy toe suede shoe with an extra silver accent at the pointy part. The sapphire and red option are stunning. Grab a pair and know you will definitely walk in comfort.
