10 Crosby Derek Lam Sweater - Alice + Olivia Trousers - Badgley Mischka Coat - French Connection Blazer - Lafayette 148 New York Pants - Steve Madden Sneakers

The sale shopping was so good this week that not only are all of my weekly shopping picks on sale, but I had to add a bonus sixth item because I couldn’t narrow down my picks! Check out what’s in my online shopping cart this week…

1. 10 Crosby Derek Lam Striped Tweed/ Poplin Top, $195.30 (was $395.00)
This two-in-one sweater looks like it has been artfully layered with a crisp blouse, but in reality it’s all one shirt. It will be a perfect option for those sleepy Monday mornings where you can’t muster the focus to think up your own layering. This special sale price good through 11/5 at 8:00 a.m. CT, then returns to regular sale price of $279.00.

2. Alice + Olivia Tuxedo Stripe Wide-Leg Pants, $160.30 (was $330.00)
It’s hard to tell from this picture, but these dressy wide-leg trousers have a contrasting white tuxedo stripe down the side. I think they’ll be an ideal addition to mix-and-match holiday party wardrobe. This special sale price good through 11/5 at 8:00 a.m. CT, then returns to regular sale price of $229.00.

3. Badgley Mischka Shearling and Leather-Trimmed Topcoat, $479.99 (was $795.00)
Shearling, either in full or as a detail, is the hot material for coats this fall. This coat manages to work in leather, wool, and goldtone hardware along with that on-trend shearling panel. It sounds like it should be overwhelming, but I think the end result is appropriately luxe.

4. French Connection Fast Connie Blazer, $159.99 (was $288.00)
This relaxed shawl-collar blazer is a great go-to shape for work. It’s not as stuffy as a more tailored blazer, but it will still pull together an outfit and add a touch of formality to, say, jeans and a tee. It’s also available in a true blue color, but I think the black is the most versatile. And really, who couldn’t use another black blazer?

5. Lafayette 148 New York Skinny-Leg Cropped Pants, $62.40 (was $158.00)
These cropped pants are likely not fall-appropriate in most areas, but they are a classic shape that will be perfect come spring. At this price, it’s worth buying now and wearing later. Helpful hint: Lafayette 148 tends to run about a size large, so I suggest sizing down. This special sale price good through 11/5 at 8:00 a.m. CT, then returns to regular sale price of $89.14.

6. Steve Madden Calf Hair Slip On, $69.99 (was $99.95)
Just in case you haven’t got your fill of spring’s must-have slip on skater sneaker trend, I ran across this calf hair pair this week. They’re marked down nicely, and I think the calf hair is one of the few sneaker options that actually feels right for fall. I picture them with boyfriend jeans and an oversized, chunky sweater.
