‘Tis the season to wear short shorts!

Although some people do not love short shorts because they are not always worn appropriately, short shorts is a trend worth talking about. This trend may become an option for those of you who instinctively want to rule out short shorts because I can show you some fashion tricks that will provide you with many ways to flatter your body. For example, try wearing baggier shorts that accentuate your waist with looser tops or tank tops, belts, and heels. This combination will focus everyone’s attention on your waist while allowing you to put your best legs forward.

Sometimes I think wrap shorts are perfect. They are stylish, exude the allure of a skirt, and allow movement without looking like you’re baring too much leg (even though you are). My first feature is a great example of this chic style. This short accentuates the waist and mimics a skirt, which is what gives it ultra-appeal, but keeps you from having to worry about keeping your legs crossed at all times. With that said, I would gear away from wearing this style with stilettos unless you are very dainty. Instead, wear with embellished sandals or wedges.

Bebe has a nice short shorts option, but there are only a couple sizes left at the moment. This short has that admirable laid-back look due to the two side panels. This enables you to play the look up or down. I really like the design of this short.

I actually could have featured this next item in the article I wrote last week because it is mint green, and the color mint green is a big hit right now. Allow this crisp color short to showcase your legs. The baggier structure is becoming and the soft material makes this a comfortable option for warm weather.

I found some shorts that I couldn’t resist purchasing. Not only are they simple and versatile, they also caught my attention because of their phenomenal color combination of turquoise and yellow. This is a nice choice for a summer weekend getaway because they are tailored well and bold.
