Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer - Helmut Lang Tee Shirt - Citizens of Humanity Pants - Base Range Swimsuit - Gucci Handbag

Everything old is new again this week, from early ‘90s dropped crotch pants to early ‘00s Gucci logo-wear. How is it that these fashion flashbacks are feeling suddenly fresh and new?

Speaking of fresh, the beauty glossies and blogs are all saying great things about the natural glow attainable with Charlotte Tilbury’s highlighter/ bronzer compact. I’m ready to bite.

Check out all of my favorite online shopping finds this week…

1. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight, $68.00
Beauty editors all over the internet have been raving about this bronzer + highlighter duo. But, it was a Byrdie post detailing Olivia Culpo’s everyday makeup routine that sold me. She described using the bronzer portion as a soft eyeshadow, and snapped a pic of her well-worn palette as proof of her wear-everywhere devotion. I’d try anything to recreate her fresh-faced Byrdie glow.

2. Helmut Lang Vintage Cotton Strap T-Shirt, $160.00
Every summer Helmut Lang comes up with a few new takes on the classic tee. This shoulder strap vintage cotton option has a vaguely military vibe, which adds a little visual structure to the relaxed fit.

3. Citizens of Humanity Premium Vintage Sadie Utility Pants, $218.00
Having lived through the fashion phenomenon that was “Hammer pants,” I have been reluctant to embrace then newer incarnations of the drop-crotch. But, these new utility pants have an undeniable slouchy charm. I think they’d look fabulous with the Helmut Lang tee also pictured here.

4. Base Range Mississippi Swimsuit, $150.00
I keep running into items from the new-ish label Base Range that I love. This simple black one-piece swimsuit has a classic, Audrey Hepburn-esque look that feels like the perfect antidote to season after season of bikinis.

5. Gucci Linea G 2 Leather Trimmed Canvas Shoulder Bag, $825.00
I’m still a bit up in the air over the recent resurgence of logo-bedecked items. But, if you are going to give logos a second try, there’s really no better place to start than Gucci. This cross body gets an extra touch of casual from the embroidered gold bee motif. It feels like a fresh new take on the old school Gucci logo bag.
