This season shoes are the ultimate accessory. Shoes are holding their own, embellished with everything from feathers to buckles. Bedazzled jewels are also the best way to transform office attire to a nighttime worthy look. Whether you are wearing denim or black slacks, the shoes will be doing all the talking.

In order to slowly transition from strappy sandals to boots, I vouched for some toe revealing shoes with enough attitude to handle colder weather with the amount of heat they give off! Girls, I have some major sassy, outfit-altering shoes. Whether you believe in foot décor now, you will once you see some of the dolled up styles. Talk about some vixen shoes! This Charles by Charles David ‘Spicy’ Pump is named well-- very true to character. You don’t need much of an outfit to look great when wearing this pair. Dark denim and a crisp white collared shirt accompanied by a trench, and this red thrilling pair will not only create liveliness, but also maintain it! The sheer, textured ruffles winding down over the foot gives these peep toes a fantastic look. A look of mystery and pure glamour is what you will be exuding.

Wild child Betsey Johnson has always loved decorating her shoes with extraordinary, dazzled up décor. She definitely believes in the power of women’s feet, and truly expresses it with the Betsey Johnson ‘Keilor’ Sandal. It’s a fall/winter acceptable sandal. The color is bright, which is a perfect fit for gloomy weather and a great match for a black cocktail dress. The shoes are glossy patent overlay and have a geometric design that really pops over the satin. The color and design are as charming as they get.

Plaid is back in the game for fall and, with endless options and a variety of ways to wear this trend, it’s no wonder it’s back! Whether you wear it like Cher did in Clueless or like a Classic Ralph Lauren model, you can’t go wrong. Either way, I recommend you put your own spin on it. When wearing a plaid skirt don’t be afraid to pair it with some thick black leggings and a flirty ruffle shirt. I wouldn’t recommend going crazy in the jewelry department when wearing plaid-- I’d stick to the sophisticated side of it. But, if you have an edgy fashion sense, play it up with some layered bracelets or a bright bold ring.

My ultimate favorite thing about plaid is that you don’t have to be enrolled in school to be wearing it-- it’s suitable at any age! If you feel like wearing plaid is too uniform for you, try taking the baby steps with a plaid scarf or plaid shoes. With plaid accessories you can re-wear them year after year, because there’s proof that plaid works. There’s a reason school systems have adopted it for so many years.

Easing into plaid with baby steps, I have the perfect accessory: a scarf! I have always worn plaid scarves, and I find them to be an adorable accent. It’s just enough to keep up with the trend, without feeling like a school girl. I usually go for the Burberry scarves, but I love this Juicy Couture Tasseled Plaid Scarf for $78! It’s affordable, and looks fun loving with the tassels. The black knotted tassels complement the cozy gray multi-colored plaid scarf. Coverage and warmth with lots of spunk-- love it!

Gearing towards the more serious sassy crowd, I’ve got just the item for you! Gwen Stefani is getting better with time, and especially with this L.A.M.B. Ruffle Plaid Belted Trench Coat. I love how it’s perfect for fall, it implements femininity with the added ruffles combined with the plaid, and the belt creates a cinch. But, hey, remember to personalize it with your own thick patent leather belt, and rock it sista!

For the middle road gals, I’ve got a cute no-pressure tunic that touches the spot just right. I liked it so much, I bought it! I like this purple plaid ECI Rosette Scoopneck Tunic because it’s very easy to dress up or down. You can wear it with leggings and ballerina flats or dress it up with some chunky patent leather pumps. The scoop neckline with the rosette trim, and triple-tiered hem with the solid black trim gives it some depth and lotsa style. Whether you do it up for an evening out with the girls, or dress it down with jeans for a movie night, you won’t go unnoticed by your local fashionistas.

It doesn't closely mirror any big fashion trends and it's not a particularly ground breaking shape, but there's something about this dress that has me totally mesmerized. On one hand, it's classic and soft. But, on the other hand, it's kind of abstract and modern-- like Rothko painting shrunk down to dress-size. Amazing.

The dip-dye technique at the edges and the artful draping take typically stodgy chiffon for a thrill ride. I had a bit of a fashion emergency this weekend. I think it might be a sign that a celebrity fashion line is here to stay when other celebs start wearing the look as part of their everyday life. I'll be honest, I think most celebrity lines appeal almost exclusively to their fan base. There's a bit of a cheap feeling to most celeb lines, no matter what the actual pricetag reads. But, there seems to be an exception rising above the rest.

Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. label has been turning out consistently fabulous fashions since its inception. I have loved L.A.M.B.'s irreverent fashions since the beginning, but when I heard that their next step was handbags I was skeptical. I'm a bit of a handbag snob. Ok, I'm a big handbag snob.
