Although I've been a dedicated flexitarian for the better part of ten years, I've never been one to indulge in vegan fashion. Like all good California girls, I try my best to be eco-conscious, but fashion tends to win out in the end. Sad, but true. When I think "vegan leather" images of cheap plastic knock-offs and tacky pleather float through my head. Ick.
