Love. Love at first sight. The minute I saw this Chloe "Andy" Satchel I was smitten. She's perfection. I just bought a new mattress set, which I desperately needed, but-- dammit-- for the same price I could have bought this bag. It's moments like this that remind me why I don't purchase house stuff. I always regret it.
The lush Chloe "Andy" Satchel, a signature piece from the Chloe Spring collection, is constructed from butter soft lambskin and is expandable via side zipper. Personally, I'd probably keep it expanded all of the time because the super cute hidden zip pocket is such a stand out detail. Although you can't really judge proportion by this pic, if you click through you can see the "Andy" on the arm of the model. It's just big enough to carry everything you could possibly need for the day, but it's way smaller than the super oversized bags we've seen the past few seasons. My very sore shoulders are thankful for a reprieve from the suitcase-sized handbag.
I'm loving this Chloe satchel in inky blue with brown accents, as seen here and as available at Saks. But, I've seen pictures that lead me to believe it might be available in black later on in the season. Actually, I think it's the blue/ brown combo that really makes this bag... it just wouldn't be as spectacular in black. But, for you black back enthusiasts, if you hold out your bag dreams may come true. I wonder if I can return the mattress...
