I have always found comfort in suede shoes, and I have found some awesome suede shoe picks for fall from Nordstrom. They currently have an excellent selection of suede shoes from different designers.
Suede is one of the greatest fabrics for the fall, and with its versatility you can combine it with the other fun fabrics being utilized to put forth sexy fashion. Suede’s softness makes it susceptible to damage. The texture and open pores make suede and easy target for dirt and it absorbs liquids quickly. So, make sure you use fabric guard on your suede shoes before you wear them-- you can find spray guards almost everywhere. I picked out three wonderful suede shoes out of hundreds to choose from.
I must say Jessica Simpson really stepped it up this season. This wonderful black ‘Rachella’ Bootie is hot! These black suede shoes would look killer with a skirt or with some tailored trousers. The triple buttons and the crossovers give this shoe an elegant, yet fun look. Go Jessica!
Secondly, I chose the
Circa Joan & David ‘Pretty’ Boot-- and boy are they pretty! These grey suede boots are a fall must-have! They are also made in black, but the grey really shows off the funkiness of the boot. I like the fitted bottom around the ankle and the wider top, allowing room to wear it over some thicker pants. But, it would look incredible with a pair of leggings and an oversized sweater, or just some tight fitted jeans.
I have always been a big fan of L.A.M.B. shoes. I must say, they are not always the most comfortable shoes for my high-arched feet, but they look killer every time. I love these shoes because of the color combination, the deep red and black. The L.A.M.B ‘Fen’ Pump has accents of soft suede and leather. The shoes are downright alluring! With the 4 1/2 inch heel, and a 3/4 inch platform, you’ll be a knockout every time you wear them.
Don’t let the maintenance of suede discourage you, as hot as suede is, it’s worth it! Plus, most wonderful things in life take maintenance, so just add suede to the list!
