Can you ever get too intimate with your significant other? The answer for this topic is absolutely not! The Neutrogena Partnership for Skin Health is a public service initiative created for skin health education. Now available to improve our knowledge is their video with actress Malin Akerman from films such as the recent 27 Dresses and The Heartbreak Kid, which features Malin with a man examining each other’s bodies. Wait, who’s the man you asked? Now ladies, this is for skin cancer’s sake, let’s worry about what techniques to use.

“Check out someone you love,” is the takeaway line from this mini video and it definitely has a sensual focus. Please watch and know that the serious side to this video is preventing skin cancer. “This video and message is something I have a passion for because I understand the importance of checking your skin for suspicious moles,” says Malin. “I recently had a suspicious mole removed on my face; I noticed it was changing shape and asked my dermatologist to examine it. I was one of the luckier ones.”

With stats like one in five Americans developing skin cancer in their lifetime, this information being put out by Neutrogena makes learning how to watch for this terrible disease is a lot easier. If you don’t take control of your health, maybe this will help your significant other to get a jump-start on it for you!
