New & Hot: House of Harlow by Nicole Richie

After much talk and speculation, as well as a fair amount of coverage in the national glossies, Nicole Richie's House of Harlow jewelry line is finally available to online shopping devotees. And, surprisingly, I'm not disappointed. The prices are reasonable, the styles are timely and fashionable, and there isn't a cheesy celeb logo in sight.

The pieces range from oh-so-spring statement necklaces, to feathery earrings, to bangles and cuffs a plenty. While a couple of the pieces-- like the Gold Resin and Black Stone Earrings and the Black/Gold Sunburst Stations Necklace-- are a little too "modern art" for my personal taste, there are a few classic pieces that won't be rushing out of style any time soon.

My favorite is the House of Harlow Black Hinged Cuff, recently spotted on Nicole Richie herself (see photo left). This 14kt yellow gold plated cuff with black leather detailing is simple, but still big enough to feel a little daring and bold. Plus, at a mere $120, this chic bracelet has all the style of lines like CC Skye or Kenneth Jay Lane, but for a bit less money. Hey, every penny counts.
