Fashion Cents: $150 Budget Shopping Spree

I had the pleasure of spending Fashion's Night Out (the first Thursday of New York Fashion Week) at the GAP with a Fashion Cents viewer - Jill. She won a $150 gift card from the GAP to get styled by me during Gap's Fashion's Night Out Event in Chicago.

Jill is a professional woman in her 40s who DJs at night - hot, right? So she wanted to get something she could wear to her night job.

I always have the GAP on my places to shop for staples like button down shirts, sweaters, well fitting jeans, and premium pants which are updated each season with the latest trends. This season the premium pants come in a wide legged trouser, cropped pant and even a cropped flared pant. If you couldn't tell...I'm a fan. But, I forgot how fabulous GAP pieces can be too - cool vests with embellishments, leather paneled skirts, and beautiful drapey blouses.

So with all to choose from, we were able to not only get her a look for her DJ gig that she LOVED but we were also able to find her something for her daytime job. And the best part? We got it all for $150. See fabulous doesn't have to cost a fortune!

Now, watch the video and then fall into the GAP, literally, this fall. It will do wonders for your wardrobe and your budget -- makes "cents"!
