When summer arrives wine tasting becomes a hit. Since summer is full of tastings, I feel it’s appropriate to showcase the proper attire for the various events.

Whether you are going to a vineyard or a private party you always want to be fashion-forward, but consider wearing different footwear depending on the destination. If it’s a vineyard you’ll want to stick to flats or wedges for comfort because of the extensive walking.

My first pick can be worn in any kind of setting, but will look lovely with heels. It is a stunning mint-aqua color that is making a big splash this season. It is a flawless color and it flatters both lighter and darker skin tones beautifully. I like this for an evening wine tasting event with heels because it gives off a very carefree vibe. The long sleeves and the cascading drapey v-neck allow breathing room to drink and eat without feeling guilty, while looking fab!

If you are going to explore the vineyards I highly suggest you try flowy, longer dresses so that no one gets flashed when the warm weather breeze picks up. Maxi dresses look elegant and will pair well with flats while feeling completely comfortable. This scarf print dress is bright and bold. You can wear it all sorts of ways all summer long. This dress also makes it easy to slip on some stilettos, a bold necklace, and a scarf for an evening dinner.

As an alternative I found a very affordable maxi dress that’s just as bright, but has a different pattern. This floral dress has thin straps with a crossover back. Like the rest of my features, this is also a feminine and flirty dress. It is an absolutely amazing dress to wear with a pair of brown, strappy flats.

If you are tasting wines in a climate with no wind and sweltering heat then I would definitely opt to wear this stylish floral chiffon dress. It’s airy, but short so keep that in mind when wearing this gorgeous dress. This is a wonderful pairing when sipping on your roses and pinots.
