Loving This Week: The Essential Fall Shoe + a Bargain Tee

I started the shopping week searching for a new skincare breakthrough product that I read about in a glossy. I love luxe skincare, but I rarely jump on the bandwagon when it comes to ultra-pricey beauty goodies. This new find will definitely be my downfall.
In fashion news, I found the one shoe that will go well with all of fall’s big trends, but will still pair well with wardrobe basics. How fabulous is that?
Here are all the goodies I have in my online shopping cart this week…
1. Massimo Dutti Jacquard Cape, $140.00
The cape cut sweater is a fall favorite, so there are plenty of options available in stores. This particular version rose to the top of the must-buy pile for me because of the minimalist color palette, interesting pattern, and smart price.
2. Chloe Black Leather Mary Janes, $625.00
These Chloe pumps are the essential shoe for fall. The stacked sole and classic cut are ideal for balancing the season’s popular wide leg jeans, flares, and culottes with style.
3. Uniqlo Heattech Fleece High Neck T-Shirt, $14.90
This tee shirt/ sweatshirt mash-up has a slim, modern fit that is more interesting than a standard sweatshirt, but just as cozy. It’s made from Uniqlo’s Heattech fabric, so it will be extra warm on the chilliest days, and it comes in nine different colors.
4. Kane NY Serum Savant, $250.00
I just read about this new serum in the October issue of Allure magazine. Evidently, it’s a real-deal breakthrough. It’s the first time chemists have been able to break down hyaluronic acid into small enough particles to actually penetrate the epidermis, and 100% of study participants saw a significant improvement in their skin after using. Derm world heavyweight Dr. Doris Day, clinical associate professor of dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center, raved about it in the Allure article. I can’t wait to try it.
5. WWAKE Arc Necklace, $200.00
This pretty sterling silver necklace has a casual simplicity that is perfect for everyday wear. It’s un-fussy enough for business professional workwear, yet playful enough for the weekend.
