Loving This Week: Pajama Dressing + Rachel Comey Sandals
Monday, August 01, 2016 • Permalink •
This week’s best of shopping list is brought to you straight from the Need Supply Summer Sale, otherwise known as “that other sale” that’s going on this week.
I know, we’re all gaga over the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s fabulous, it’s amazing (and it’s still going on for another week). But, honestly, a good Need Supply sale might just beat out Nordie’s. Their store is a haven for those of us who love a contemporary minimalist aesthetic, and their sales are always amazing. Plus, they stock some unique finds that you won’t typically find in a mainstream department store. It's a recipe for budget-busting shopping fun.
Check out my favorite picks from the Need Supply Sale…
1. Rachel Comey Cleo Sandal, $220.99 (was $391.00)
Everything about these sandals screams modern. From the sliver-thin t-strap, to the pebbled leather block heel, to the tiny brass buckle, the details are right on point. I expect nothing less from Rachel Comey. And since summer is showing zero signs of waning, these will still get plenty of wear this year.
2. Maison Du Soir Sydney Top, $54.99 (was $128.00)
This lightweight button-down sleep shirt straddles the line between daywear and sleepwear. Personally, I’d wear this with jeans and heels for a casual office look.
3. C/MEO Collective Midnight Shirt Dress, $89.99 (was $185.00)
Nothing says summer chic quite like a crisp white shirt dress. This one gets extra style points from a pointed collar, snap-closure placket with silver hardware, and those very cool sleeves. Wearing all white is tough, but I think this look is worth the extra hassle. Luckily, it’s machine washable.
4. Citizens of Humanity Cora Crop Jean, $244.99 (was $288.00)
I’ve been raving about this new Cora cut from Citizens of Humanity all summer. It’s about time I found a pair on sale.
5. Apiece Apart High-Waist Crop Jeans, $162.99 (was $255.00)
Minimalist label Apiece Apart knows how to do low-key luxury. This raw denim crop jean is dressy enough for a casual office, but still perfect for vacation, and so sleek! Plus, it’s crafted from a cotton/ Lycra blend that’s billed as a “comfort fit.” Seriously, I’m all for comfort clothes that look this pulled together.
