General Guidelines:
- We accept guest posts from fellow bloggers and writers generally interested in speaking to the Stiletto Jungle audience. We do not accept guest posts from SEO companies trolling for links or companies interested exclusively in self promotion. That's what advertising is for.
- Posts must be 100% original works written exclusively for Stiletto Jungle. We do not accept posts that have previously appeared anywhere on the web and we do not allow re-publishing after a post has appeared on Stiletto Jungle without our express written permission. Plagiarism is unbecoming, and usually quite illegal.
- Posts should be generally related to online fashion and beauty shopping for a professional female audience, because that's what we do around here. All products mentioned or suggested must be currently available for purchase online. You can read more about the Stiletto Jungle audience in our media kit. You can get a good idea about the range of topics we cover by taking a spin around the blog.
Specific Guidelines:
- Posts must fall between 300 and 500 words, and must be submitted in Word format with the URLs of referenced products included in a way that will make sense to someone who is coding the post. No HTML skills needed. Pretty simple, right?
- Want to submit a video blog post? We'll take it! But, it must come with 150-200 original words setting up the video and the video must be currently available on your personal YouTube or Vimeo account. See here for a look at what we're talking about.
- Posts must have reasonably good grammar, spelling and punctuation. We'll edit what we feel needs to be edited in order to make the post readable, but if it's taking too long to get your post to an acceptable place we'll send it back. Sorry.
- Posts must cover a topic that we haven't covered in the past year, or must have a completely unique spin on the topic. Hit up the search box at the top right of the blog to make sure before you submit your idea. Or, take a look at the regularly updated Guest Post Wish List at the bottom of this page to pick a topic we're looking for right now.

How to Submit Your Guest Post:

- Tell us a little about the post you want to write: the topic, angle and products you might suggest to readers. No need to send a completed post until we approve the general topic pitch.
- Tell us a little about yourself: who you are, where you blog, what you do for a living, how you think you'll connect with Stiletto Jungle readers, etc.
- We'll try to let you know within a couple days whether we think you're a good fit as a guest poster. We may not be able to use every guest post pitch for a number of reasons, including topic, relevancy, timing or the status of our editorial calendar and other obligations.
