Whether you pair it with a skirt suit or a casual outfit, the cuff will dazzle and gleam. There is nothing like finishing an outfit off with amazing accessories, and, in many cases, the accessory will end up justifying the outfit because of the bold color addition— this is the perfect characterization of a cuff.

Cuffs add sass and get your outfit noticed, but without taking all the attention. And I love to put a cuff on when I’m wearing a plain t-shirt and jeans-- it instantly glamorizes my outfit. The image a cuff reflects is a bold and confident one. The right cuff can turn your look to fun and crazy Betsy Johnson or to a polished Chanel girl in an instant. Either way, you can’t go wrong!

Even with my small wrists, I’m a big fan of thick cuffs because of their boldness. I like the way the cuff wraps around my wrist-- or forearm if the fit is wide. And it’s usually easy to adjust a cuff simply by bending it, as opposed to its rigid counterpart the bangle.

I have found a few cuffs that would add some flare and class to your jewelry box. One that makes me want to swoon is the Roberto Cavalli Jeweled Cuff Bracelet [top left]. This cuff is spectacular; it’s something that can be used year after year, and season after season. I know it’s wild and a little blinged out, but you can always tone it down by wearing a simple outfit when flaunting it.

My second recommendation is the Arden B. Stone Cuff Bracelet. This cuff is ultra-feminine, and flattering with a summer tan. The cuff comes in two refreshing colors, coral and a jade green. The gold wrapped wiring on this piece makes it unique and a great way to inject color into a bland outfit.

One cuff that I personally own and adore is the Nordstrom Lace Cuff [right]. This lace cuff with the tiny crystals is great because of its feather weight and its attractiveness to the eye. This would be a very flattering cuff on most people because of its simplicity and elegance.

Lastly, I’d like to introduce you to the cuff that will be joining my jewelry box shortly. The Coral Branch Cuff by Kenneth Jay Lane [left] is perfect for an accessory freak like me.
