Finding the perfect outfit for a night out with the girls or a fabulous party that everyone else won’t be wearing is always a challenge. Especially with boutiques and department stores carrying a mixture of the same designers – it seems like every outfit is a sell out. The up and coming designer Dana-Maxx is bringing some new styles to the table in luxe fabrics and elegant lines.

If you’re still hunting for a dress, Dana-Maxx designs for the age bracket of 20-35 year olds who aren’t looking to spend thousands of dollars on one dress they might just wear a few times. There are also blouses, skirts and fitted jackets that flatter a woman’s body while still being chic. Prices range from $200 to around $500 for pieces in the collection and surely stylists will continue to present Dana-Maxx to celebrities like Hilary Duff and Avril Lavigne, and channels like MTV and Bravo.

I truly believe a good fabric and clean stitching is important for a garment, especially if you are going to be spending several hundred dollars and you want it to last for a few seasons. Dana-Maxx uses satin, worsted wool and genuine leather. The line sells in Canada and the US and can be found at Dana-Maxx.com. Dana-Maxx has been designing since a young age and earned some of her experience interning at Betsey Johnson and then working at Marc Jacobs. Looks like there is hope for the fashion obsessed’s tired eyes!
