There are only so many standout pictures that really grab you. In my everyday job, I have to have those pictures to sell models, or, well, I guess I wouldn't be doing too many sales. So what is it that grabs the eye? Bright full lips are always a winner.

Red lipstick is perfect for a classic outfit to make it stand out, or an evening look to go back to the Hollywood glam days. But beyond eye grabbing, there is a theory that seems to be making sense, especially now. Apparently, red lips evoke a sense of power for women to stand against all the odds. Well, no wonder the sales of red are going up! The economic down spiral we've all been experiencing can be made a little more livable... with lipstick, who would have thought?

Try the brand Black Radiance, which can be found in drug stores. Their brand manager has seen a huge increase in sales of the red lipstick in the last few weeks. With all the election drama and the constant change of the stocks, women have turned to makeup to give them a little ump every day, and who could blame us? Brand manager K. MacDonald Parris has "seen sales go from 12 tubes a week to as high as 52 tubes a week." Wow!! "Red is a power color -- when you apply red lipstick you feel stronger, more confident and ready to take on the world no matter what the challenge," says Parris.

The Black Radiance brand can get you through anything and in quantity as this feel good transformer costs only $1.99 per tube. The Black Radiance Perfect Tone Lip Color and the Tropez Moisturizing Lipstick are cheap for any girl during these tough times and comes in a variety of shades. So if you're feeling down because the numbers keep going south on the Dow or your job is looking a little unstable, keep a proud attitude and look the part, red lipstick will take you to the next level!
