It’s summer, and it’s time for dresses that represent the season 100 %. Victoria’s Secret and Venus.com do exactly that: represent sun-kissed, sexy, flowing dresses that transform you into that carefree woman that you can be. Vicky’s and Venus take a simple dress and make it into the ultimate sun dress. Their models make it look gorgeous and easy, but there is a hot confident model inside all of us, we’ve just got to let her out!

The key is to embrace natural beauty and not layer on makeup when wearing these fun dresses. Instead, go natural with some bronzer and lip gloss. And don’t you just love their hair in all of those Victoria’s Secret ads? It looks like they just got out of the shower, and they’re all just naturally born with thick voluminous hair… yah right! So, that’s where you may have to get a little help from a leave in conditioner, mousse, a frizz-ease serum or anything to guide your hair after the shower. I’ve said this many times, and I will continue to say it, but dresses are a great easy pick. Once you’ve chosen to wear a dress that’s it, unlike a skirt where you have to pick the top. Create a low maintenance, stress-free summer by having plenty of sundresses on hand.

A casual dress that allows you to dress it up is the best of both worlds. Casual typically means comfort and that’s what a carefree summer is all about! This first dress is a strapless, bare shoulder simple dress. The Victoria's Secret Strapless Dress is perfect for walking on the beach, or a vacation somewhere. It’s practical and smart to wear when you are trying to avoid tan lines. The grapefruit color is spectacular. I could see it with some gold chandelier earrings and gladiator sandals.

Continuing on with Vicky attire, I found a dress called the “Breezy”-- exactly what I was looking for! It’s simplistic and comes in two of my favorite colors: brown and yellow. A fit and flare dress that will never make you feel self-conscious about the carbs you ate the night before, because that’s what living is all about! Side note: this dress is great for pregnant gals.

Lastly, I kept it consistent and casual, but went a little fierce. This Venus long purple leopard dress is great for a quick outfit change. The bandeau bust will keep the girls tamed, and the long length will create a less-exposed feeling after wearing a bathing suit. I’ve had my eye on this dress for the summer, and now it’s half-off, for $29! I love finding deals.
