I just got back from a hike, and I have to come to realize the importance of baseball caps. Seriously, getting a heat stroke from a two-hour hike doesn’t sound like any fun. Baseball caps keep it simple-- nothing fancy, but they definitely keep your head from over heating and your hair from drying out, and protect your face. The fun part is you can represent you favorite sports team, brand, or college with a baseball cap. In addition, it’s so convenient to be able to disguise a horrible hair day with a cute hat.

Football season is starting soon, and wouldn’t it be great to join in on the spirit with your favorite team’s baseball cap? Living in San Diego, I support the San Diego Chargers and have made a conscious effort to choose this specific hat out of my pile. With that said, I’ve got an example of a nice Charger hat, in case you want to join in on the support. The San Diego Chargers 07 Second Season Hat is white with a dark blue stripe down the middle that contains the yellow lightening bolt, which is the Chargers symbol. If football isn’t your thing, I’m sure there’s a sport that has you screaming at the television.

We all know someone who’s obsessed with their college football team, or the parents who love wearing a college hat because they paid for their kids’ education. Whatever the reason, I see a lot of USC hats everywhere. Those people have some major pride-- I love it! I think it’s great to promote an institution of knowledge, so let’s shop for a college baseball cap! Not to rub it in, but I chose to feature a USC hat-- not that they need anymore support. I found a site that has American college accessories, anything from jerseys to baseball caps. The USC Trojans Adjustable Bar Cap by The Game comes in different colors, but I like the white with red lettering. The ultimate favorite seems to be the red one, so I went for the underdog.

Gearing away from sports, I paved my way towards trendy with the next item. This Dream Control Wings Army Hat is a grungy looking cap… and it’s absolutely fabulous! Hats like this take time well, and don’t look so beat up and dirty with wear. The red, silver, blue, and green color combination gives it an edgy look. The back of the hat has a studded leather patch on it, in case you walk backwards. And to add to this trend setting hat, the adjustable strap on the back is styling too!
