Everything '80s is back! That’s right-- big shoulder pads in blazers, big glossy lips, rigid lines, military styles and straight up mixes of everything. Basically, fashion is amplified by a 100 and, according to the runways, this is what is setting the standard for the upcoming months. The good thing: we have pictures helping us figure out what worked then, and what really didn’t! Leave the plastic bracelets behind, and get yourself some rockin’ boots and a pair of legwarmers to get your self-expression started. And then I suggest you check out some of my wonderful finds. Thanks to Michael Jackson and Madonna I have a better idea of what’s a Do, and what’s a Don’t!

Okay, so my first find is a jacket that would definitely appear in a Flashdance sequel. The LaROK 'Gothic Princess' Jacket is pretty groovy! The fitted blazer with a skirt and a pair of legwarmers would make '80s obsessed people of the world go crazy, in a good way! The black blazer is fitted and expresses itself well with the sheer tonal tulle that adds a romantic touch to the hem of the blazer. The structured shoulders take the best of the '80s without making you look like a linebacker.

Versace Quilted Bow Bootie

$1,195.00
Available at: neimanmarcus.com

Although Rihanna can pull of the hugely padded blazers, most can’t. There is something the trendy Rihanna can pull off that we all can too: some hot booties! I’ll be honest, Versace has let me down before but, not when it comes to the Quilted Bow Bootie. Wowzy-- they're stunning! Who cares about a pedicure in these show stoppers. They are expensive, but just do your own pedicure for a year. Not only will you master the art of painting your toes to perfection, you’ll be walking around about 5 inches taller. Instant long legs, instantly seductive.

Moving on… from feet to hands. It only seems appropriate you cover you hands with the same amount of sass and glam as the booties. Wouldn’t want to make the hands jealous, would we? Leather plus suede equals a lot of power. These Portolano Leather and Suede gloves with pure silk lining are purely luxurious, and amazingly gorgeous. I love the Cranberry color, but they also come in black. The long Audrey Hepburn-style gloves will leave a lasting impression, beyond our time.
