Before purchasing, the first step is to pick your shade, and the website is very helpful with this process. The whole thing is spelled out for you. You have 4 categories to choose from: tan, medium, light and deep. Once you select a shade you get two different foundation shades and either one of them will work or you can blend them to get that perfect shade. After applying the foundation on a clean face, you can apply the Glow on cheeks, nose and neck, but I used mine on cheeks only. After you are all done you use the Active Veil SPF 18 for the entire face to set the foundation in place. These three easy steps are all it takes to get luminous, healthy looking skin.
I think this would be a great gift for moms and sisters for the holidays. I could see my mom loving this because it’s a minimal amount of makeup that goes a long way. The foundation is lightweight and doesn’t sit in wrinkles and fine lines. It really doesn’t feel or look like you’re wearing a lot of makeup. As I mentioned before, the interactive website is also very helpful. It goes through the steps of applying mineral makeup in the simplest terms for those that are mineral makeup virgins. Another perk is getting 2 different foundations, which enable you to darken or lighten your face. This is also good when transitioning into different seasons.
