Fashion Cents: Jean Jacket Style

Rumor has it that the first jean jacket was designed in 1873 by Levi's. That would make the jean jacket 138 years old! But unlike many things back in that time, the jean jacket has remained pretty much the same. Sometimes it gets a little added bling or color or lengthened or shortened or distressed or chained or...you get it; but in the end, the classic style continues to endure. And there is good reason to keep this classic style around, it is multifaceted...it adds an easy and fashionable layer of warmth plus it can tone down a dressy outfit or dress up a really casual one.

If you stick with a classic style and a dark wash you will find (if you don't already know) that it can be one of your most worn wardrobe pieces. And the bonus, it doesn't have to cost you a lot. I bought the one I wore in this video from Old Navy for only $25.

Now watch the video for more jean jacket style. Make sense?
