Kate Middleton and Prince Harry wearing Le Chameau green rubber boots
We know so much about the fashion comings and goings of our beloved Kate Middleton, otherwise known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. We know about her taste in fine frocks, her love of high street stores and her penchant for affordable footwear. But, what does Kate prefer to sport to keep her toes dry in the UK's notoriously damp weather? Only the poshest rainboots we've run across...

Kate, as well as Prince Harry and a handful of other less sartorially interesting royals, have all been spotted numerous times wearing wellingtons from luxe French hunting/ outdoors boot label Le Chameau. The picture here, taken just a week ago, shows both Kate and Harry sporting their Le Chameaus while heading out to watch William play soccer. Click through to view the full sized photo for more detail. Kate was also spotted in these boots while walking with Pippa along the beach in Wales and while doing a little pre-wedding hunting with Prince William early last year.

Founded in 1927, the Le Chameau label is regarded as the leading producer of rubber boots worldwide. Um, take that, Hunter. Kate and the royals are fans of the pricey leather-lined version of these boots. Yes, leather-lined rubber... that's how you end up with $440.00 rubber boots. But, you don't have to throw down that much to get in on the royal boot action. Le Chameau also makes cotton-lined boots that start at around $100.00.
