Lena Dunham wearing Jean-Michel Cazabat Shoes
I have a feeling this is the beginning of something big. It's our first post mentioning the very highly anticipated new HBO series Girls! I predict that this show, and its cast, will become regulars in our celeb style category.

Haven't heard of Girls yet? It's the creation of Lena Dunham, pictured here, who also stars in the show. It's supposed to be kind of like a grittier, more real-world version of Sex and the City for the current day.

The comedy revolves around four girls in their early twenties trying to make it in New York City. Judd Apatow is one of the co-producers, and the newbie cast also includes Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Adam Driver and Zosia Marmet. As the April 15 premiere draws closer, the talk about the show has been getting louder. Check it out:

And all of this brings me to... Girls creator and co-star Lena Dunham was recently spotted at a promotional event wearing super cute black suede platform shoes. Since I'm convinced that we'll be talking about Girls non-stop as soon as it debuts, I thought this would be a great time to also debut our first celeb style find for Lena. Want to steal Lena Dunham's black suede platform style for yourself? She's wearing Jean-Michel Cazabat Shakira Platform Heels.

These kind of vintage-y pumps feature an open toe and a buckle sling-back strap. The substantial heel both adds style and a bit of extra stability -- all the better for a long day of promoting your soon-to-be hit television show, or for just surviving a long day at the office. They're available in Black suede, as seen on Lena, or Red Rose suede. Both colors are currently on sale, but a few sizes (including mine!) have already sold out.
