Summer’s Best Pink Lip Color and How to Wear It

I love all shades of pink from the subtle to the bright. When the weather gets warm, I de-prioritize my eye makeup and experiment with fun lip colors. The pink family goes well with all of the season’s bright colors such as turquoise, yellow, orange, coral, and the bold blues and greens. This summer keep some great pinks in your make-up bag to polish off your outfit with perfect kissable lips.

The CoverGirl Queen Collection Powderpuff Pink is amazing. It is a subtle pink that will not cause too much commotion and will keep you hip for the season while keeping your lips moisturized every time you apply.

If your significant other gets enticed to kiss you on your pink lips, but is tired of getting it all over his face, then try CoverGirl Outlast all day lip color. This two piece set is a hit with some of my favorite sisters, Caitlin and Erin. They swear by its longevity even after eating.

Although I was apprehensive about the claim, I saw it first hand and I think it’s a great product. You first apply the lipstick and then use the topcoat to set the color and give it some moisture. There are several pink options that I like. Check out the Dusty Rose and Blossom Berry.

If you can shell out $31 for lipstick then I would recommend Dior Addict lipstick. I love Dior’s make up line because of their products are top quality and last. I am obsessed with two of their colors: Plaza and Lucky are my favorites from this line. Lucky is a harder color to match all skin types, but check it out for yourself.

Sephora is having a great sale on their Rouge Cream Lipstick. I love the price, but Sephora lipsticks do bleed and tend to get super soft in the sun so be careful. Right now you can purchase some colors for $5, so I would stock up. I love their 1st Night 13 (True Warm Rose) and Mr. Lover 10 (Bright Fuchsia) colors.
