COS Sweatshirt - Velvet Top - Halston Heritage Sweater - Uniqlo Tee - Jimmy Choo Flats

A couple new sale finds, and my ongoing search for the most perfect point-toe flat ever, take center stage in this week’s online shopping finds. Plus, Uniqlo’s newest spring tee style is a definitely a must-buy, and deserves a special shout-out.

Here’s what’s taking up space in my online shopping cart this week…

1. COS Textured Front Sweatshirt, $62.00 (was $89.00)
This sale find combines a relaxed-fit sweatshirt with a wool-mix front panel for extra texture and a touch of luxe appeal. I like it for weekend wear or a casual office look – picture it with cropped trousers. It’s available in this black-on-black version, my personal favorite, or a heather grey sweatshirt with beige texture panel.

2. Velvet by Graham & Spencer Contrast Panel Dolman Tee, $41.30 (was $99.00)
I wish this picture did this top justice. I just picked this up at the Neiman Marcus Last Call Clearance Sale, and I think it’s a steal at this price. In person, it has a deliberately slouchy fit that is aided by smart use of seams and dolman sleeves. The front v and back panel are translucent silky material, while the remainder of the top has a vintage tee look to it. It has a minimalist vibe, but with a little extra texture.

3. Halston Heritage Long-Sleeve Ribbed Sweater, $79.62 (was $325.00)
This wool/ cashmere/ viscose blend sweater is a huge steal, and, crazily, it’s still available in a full range of sizes. The tiny ribbed knit makes for a great wardrobe basic that doesn’t feel boring.

4. Uniqlo Supima Cotton Modal Boat Neck Tee, $14.90
This boat-neck, three-quarter length sleeve tee is a new spring arrival at Uniqlo. It reminds me of this super popular Banana Republic boat-neck tee from my late-college/ early-grad school days. I had it in several colors and it fit like a dream, but they stopped making it and my tees eventually wore out. This is the first time I’ve run into a reasonable replacement. It’s available in 9 colors, ranging from neutrals to bright red and blue. At this price, I’m sure I’ll end up with more than one.

5. Jimmy Choo Alina Pointy Toe Leather Flat, $550.00
Meet the winning entry in my quest to find the perfect point-toe black flat. I’ve tried to locate a more modestly priced version, but none have quite the same chic silhouette as this Jimmy Choo masterpiece. Well, except maybe this Balenciaga pair…but that’s not a huge step in the right direction, budget-wise. I’m *thisclose* to giving in and buying this pair.
