Black and white is an elegant way to wear fashion that is appropriate for all occasions. The two colors from the opposite side of the spectrum complement each other wonderfully, and the combination isn’t loud and doesn’t offend anyone. There are all kinds of amazing fashion forward options to purchase when it comes to black and white choices. Since these solid colors go with any other color combinations, don’t be shy -- get creative and pair with a bolder color or pattern.

First up check out a little spin on the shirtdress. It’s a straight cut spiced up by the checker pattern and cinched with a simple belt. This is a great casual and comfortable dress to have on hand for the summer bbqs or picnics when you otherwise have nothing to wear.

There is nothing sexier than a loose fitting drapey blouse. This draped shirt has a shorter length in front and longer cascading back. This blouse is ultra hip and flirty. It’s a great way to top off bold leggings, literally. It can also help you soften a rugged pair of ripped jeans with a touch of elegance.

If you just need a simple yet fun blouse to help you complete your work look then this next showcase is for you. The polka dot print is youthful and great to wear with slacks or a pencil skirt. It livens up a boring work look with its print, but remains work appropriate. It’s also very transitional because you can always slip off a black camisole from underneath to reveal a black lace bra for the cocktail hour.

I saved the best for last. This Sophia Webster sandal is very dreamy. This is the sassiest shoe I have seen in a while. The black and white in conjunction with the dainty style and side tassel tie closure is executed to perfection. The mid heel height is great because it doesn’t over power the beauty of the shoe by accentuating height. I love everything about this concept shoe.
