Pendant necklaces are all the rage for the right reasons. They are easily worn with other necklaces and definitely help complete the look for any occasion. With an array of pendants it’s hard to choose what to buy, but I am here to help you pick one that helps create such an effortless look.

I love layering my simple chains with the longer stylish pendant necklaces to help off set the simplicity. This is also true for the shorter length necklaces I frequently showcase but seem too dainty for me. Mixing longer and shorter chains with pendant necklaces really helps me make my casual Fridays a tad more playful.

Speaking of playful, my first feature is a double happiness of a tassel. This long necklace makes a statement without taking over your entire neck. This gorgeous green stone is a great centerpiece. The green color goes well with the gold chain and will also accommodate the burgundy color that is making a comeback this fall.

Staying with stone accents, this next feature is a multi-strand necklace with multiple elements that create a va-va-voom effect. This bohemian piece gives off an alluring look with all its strands. The two different strands give off an abstract fringe effect and the dangling stone looks amazing. This will look best with a white t-shirt that needs some character.

Sometimes a shorter pendant necklace is what you need, and obviously still allows you to get creative. I love this drake bar pendant -- it’s so chic. The shape allows you to pair it with dainty or bolder pieces depending on your mood. Not to say it won’t look nice by itself.

Sometimes you have the perfect cocktail dress but don’t have a necklace to go with it. This last feature is the ultimate add on to any style, color, or patterned dress. If a necklace can be sexy, this one is it. I like how each side is different from the other, and helps complete this look with a burst of contrast.
