J.Crew Coat - Dr. Jart+ Cleanser - Frame Denim Jeans - Nimma Ring - REISS Blouse

I spend so much time shopping for new coats you’d think I live in the Northeast. The reality is that I live in Northern California, where winter means it might get as low as 60 degrees, and even that only lasts for a few weeks. But, I don’t let that stop me from coat shopping and the most recent J.Crew catalog featured a wealth of gorgeous finds. My favorite made into this week’s shopping roundup.

On the beauty side, if you are shopping for a new cleanser, you’ve got to give my newest Dr. Jart+ find a try. It gives super satisfying foam without stripping away moisture, and smells like a dream. I love this stuff.

Here’s a look at all of the finds in my online shopping cart this week…

1. J.Crew Regent Topcoat, $350.00
Sometimes I think I was meant to live in a colder climate because I am obsessed with coats. I spotted this new Regent Topcoat in the latest J.Crew catalog and mentally added it to my growing list of must-have coats. The clincher is the upturned collar, borrowed from last season’s best-selling Regent Blazer. It turns the classic topcoat silhouette into something just a little more special.

2. Dr. Jart+ Dermaclear Micro Foam Cleanser, $22.00
I recently gave this cleanser a try after my favorite Dr. Jart+ cleanser was sold out when I went to reorder. I’m so glad I did. This cleanser has all of the rich foam and squeaky-clean freshness of my old favorite, but with a slightly more moisturized after-feel. Plus, the scent is amazing – light, vaguely herbal, bergamot-tinged.

3. Frame Denim Le Slim Straight Leg Denim Trousers, $249.00
These cropped denim trousers stand out in the jeans department because they have a shape that isn’t everywhere…yet. The true straight leg, cropped at the ankle, feels like an easy way to dip a toe into the wide leg denim trend. It’s a distinctive look, but not as dramatic as a full wide leg, and can be easily worn with a range of shoe heights.

4. Nimma Volt Ring, $580.00
I’ve been stuck on rose gold and black diamond jewelry for a couple years now. The combination is striking, and can vibe from vintage to ultra-modern depending on the setting. This new ring falls on the modern side, but isn’t too sleek to pair with a weekend jeans and tee combo.

5. REISS Peyton Frill-Hem Shirt, $195.00
This is the perfect shirt to wear with flare leg jeans to create a modern twist on the ‘70s look that is so popular this season. But, this blouse won’t fall into disuse when the trend passes. Worn with office suit separates it will fit into a classic work wardrobe, no problem.
