Loving This Week: Comfy Pumps + a Modern Rose Scent
Monday, November 16, 2015
This week’s favorites range from ultra-practical re-usable shopping bags to investment-level shoes, with a little fragrance fun thrown in. Check out all of my favorite online shopping picks of the week…
1. Wilfred Montpellier Sweater, $185.00
Now that winter has really started to kick in, nothing feels more right, sartorially speaking, than a cozy oversized sweater. This gorgeous chunky turtleneck, also available in pale beige, is made from an alpaca/ cotton blend that sure to be particularly snuggly.
2. Ganni Madison Mesh Bra, $80.00
And what should one wear under that perfectly cozy oversized sweater? This pretty little longline bra would be an excellent choice.
3. Chloe Ankle-Strap Snakeskin Pumps, $739.00
It’s entirely possible that I’m going a little overboard when it comes to indulging in the block heel trend. But, it’s hard not to love a trend that actually makes it easy and comfortable to sport a look that’s fresh off the runway. That’s so rare. These new Chloe pumps pair the walkable block heel with a secure ankle strap for a shoe that is pretty much perfect.
4. Chloe Roses de Chloe Eau de Toilette, $95.00
I really didn’t mean for this week’s shopping picks to be a Chloe fest, it just happened that way. It would be tempting to write off a rose-scented fragrance as old school, but this perfume is heavenly and modern. It truly smells like fresh garden roses, with touches of bergamot and amber that add warmth. I got a sample via Sephora’s generous free sample program and could not stop smelling it. It’s that good.
5. Blu Bag Navy and Olive Set of 3, $27.50
Bring-your-own-bag is pretty much the rule everywhere in California now, yet I still get caught bag-less at the worst possible times. These super cute reusable bags can hold up to 50 pounds and fold up into perfect portable packages, small enough to toss in your purse for unexpected purchases. Plus, they are machine washable and inexpensive.
