Blame it on the season, all things golden caught my eye this week. From home goods to sneakers, metallic gold popped up in the most unexpected places. Add in some luxe cashmere and a kit that practically guarantees a dewy beauty look, and you get a shopping list worthy of Christmas week.

1. Helmut Lang Cashmere Coat, $1,497.00 (was $2,495.00)
This coat is a huge investment, even on sale. But, it’s also a timeless minimalist silhouette made from luxurious textured double-faced cashmere. And it’s 33% off. It’s a tough call, but if I had the extra dough I’d take the plunge.
2. Anthropologie Triangle Hair Clip, $12.00
Remember when you were a kid and had a different hair clip for every occasion? This is that same kind of thrill, only all grown up. Don’t try looking for it in store, though – it’s an online exclusive.
3. New Balance for J.Crew 620 Sneaker in Gold Salt, $80.00
This latest incarnation of the collaboration between New Balance and J.Crew is spot on. I never knew I wanted a pale grey sneaker with metallic gold accents, but it looks like it’s just the color combo I’ve been searching for all this time. I smell a sell out.
4. RMS Beauty Gift Set, $120.00
Speaking of J.Crew… it was just a couple years ago that the brand spilled the secret of that gorgeously imperfect J.Crew look. It’s RMS Beauty. Yep, this ethical beauty line has been the force behind those stunning catalog looks for years. This holiday gift set has everything needed to create a polished, natural look.
5. Gold Cole 3-Tier Rolling Bar Cart, $149.99
I don’t feature a lot of home items here, but I couldn’t pass this up. Bar carts are having kind of a moment (see, e.g., Instagram, Pinterest). This find has the spot on look that is so popular right now, but at about half the price of the next closest competitor. It’s a complete steal.
