Cheap Monday Dress - Bond No. 9 Fragrance - Sarah and Sebastian Ring - Opening Ceremony x Vans Sneakers

Do you ever get nostalgic about beauty products? If you love experimenting with new products all of the time, you probably know exactly what I’m talking about. A perfect product that worked like a dream, but you just never got back around to using again. This week I’m feeling nostalgic about my signature scents, circa 2007. I think it might be time to revisit these classic fragrances.

In fashion news, an affordable knit dress that screams “effortless” and a delicate everyday gold ring are calling my name.

Here’s what’s taking up space in my online shopping cart this week…

1. Cheap Monday Repeal Dress in Dark Grey, $90.00
The crew neckline and straight midi cut make this cotton stretch dress perfect for weekend layering. The varied ribbed pattern gives it a luxe look. It’s also available in black for $95.00 and in striped black & white on sale for $69.99.

2. Bond No. 9 West Side Fragrance, $220.00 - $300.00
Once upon nine years ago this was my go-to daytime scent. The combination of rose, ylang ylang, peony, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, and musk is a study in contrasts. It’s full-bodied enough for nighttime, but not too overpowering for the office. I have yet to find another fragrance that so nicely balances notes that should really be in opposition to one another. Plus, I’m missing the experience of wearing a true luxury fragrance: two sprays last all day and into the night, and very few people recognize the scent (but everyone wants to know what it is).

3. Bond No. 9 Hamptons Fragrance, $220.00 - $300.00
During my Bond No. 9 phase, this was my weekend and vacation scent. It’s one of the label’s unisex scents, and it truly is that. It’s light and fresh, but not feminine, and still manages to last all day. The notes include lime blossom, bergamot, white jasmine, magnolia, amber, and sandalwood. To me, this scent will always smell like the world’s best vacation.

4. Sarah & Sebastian Petite Bead Ring, $220.00
The delicate bead band of this 9kt yellow gold ring makes for an interesting everyday jewelry look. It’s a perfect complement to a minimalist wardrobe.

5. Opening Ceremony x Vans Old Skool Sneakers, $100.00
Speaking of minimalist, this new collaboration between downtown fashion mecca Opening Ceremony and classic skater sneaks brand Vans is made in minimalist heaven. White on white with a vintage-look rubber sole will look fab with skinnies and a chunky sweater. Or picture them with the grey dress above. This is athleisure at its best.
