Loving This Week: Shoe Pain Relief + a White Shirt Upgrade
Monday, February 08, 2016
In the mood for a bargain? This week I found a handful of pieces that will give your wardrobe a boost for under $100. I also heard about a new foot spray that’s designed to provide pain relief when the mid-day pinch sets in. That’s pretty fabulous. I really want to give it a try.
Check out all of my favorite online shopping finds this week…
1. Massimo Dutti Boat Neck Sweater, $69.50
This Pin-worthy minimalist fine-knit wool/ cashmere blend sweater will layer well now, and stand on its own once spring sets in. It’s available in both this pretty grey shade and an even more spring-perfect cream color, and it’s super affordable.
2. Raleigh Denim x Kate Spade Dare Jean, $228.00
Kate Spade’s new casual label, Broome Street, has yielded several timeless pieces worthy of a second look. But, it’s this collaboration with traditional American denim makers Raleigh Denim Workshop that stands out as the must-have from the inaugural line. I love the raw selvage denim construction and the mix of the higher rise with the slightly cropped length. Perfection, really.
3. Sole Serum, $19.99
This new foot spray is packed with natural ingredients designed to instantly relieve foot pain, and keep it away for up to two hours. So, basically, you keep this purse-sized pump bottle with you, and then give your foot 2-3 sprays when the pain kicks in. It contains lidocaine, a legit pain-stopper, as well as foot-friendly goodies like tea tree oil and peppermint oil. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds promising.
4. Söfft Mirabelle Sport Sandal, $78.95
This leather sandal represents the best possible outcome of last year’s designer obsession with orthopedic-looking shoes. It’s a chic sandal with a strong Scandinavian-minimalist vibe, made by an old school comfort shoe company. There’s no way this won’t be walking-on-air comfy. I think it’s perfect for the marathon walking sessions that come with summer travel.
5. COS Cotton-Linen Top with Tie, $99.00
Upgrade your office look with this long sleeve top. A concealed back zip ensures a slim, flattering fit. And that wide self-tie can be worn tied in the back or front, making it easy to switch up your look. It would look fabulous with a midi pencil skirt, or wide leg trousers.
