Three of this week’s finds were inspired by a recent trip to London where I happily took advantage of the excellent exchange rate. I picked up both the sweater and the tunic on my trip.
I also fell even more in love with Le Labo fragrances, which are hand-mixed right in the middle of one of the rooms at Harrod’s devoted to contemporary labels. The scent of Santal 33 wafting through the racks was intoxicating. Luckily, I’m smart enough to know that pricey perfume is not something you want to try dragging home in a suitcase.
Here are all of my favorite shopping finds for the week…
1. Isabel Marant Etoile Black Kessy Pullover, $215.00
This sweater, new for fall, is one of my favorite recent purchases. The color is the best part. It’s hard to tell from these pictures, but the “faded” black shade is flecked with tiny bits of green and gold. I suggest sizing up for a looser fit – I usually wear a FR 36, but felt like the FR 38 fit much better.
2. Seafarer Harry Jeans, $332.00
How fun are these jeans? I think they’ll look great with chunky sweaters and ankle boots once the cold weather arrives.
3. Whistles Monica Sack Dress, $180.00
Although this piece is adorable as a mini dress, I actually bought it to wear as a tunic. It has a slightly cocoon shape that works perfectly with skinny jeans.
4. M.Gemi The Mossa Pump, $248.00
These shoes are an upgraded version of spring’s must-have block-heel round-toe pump. The squared toe shape vibes a bit more sophisticated, while the lower vamp injects a little toe cleavage into the equation.
5. Le Labo Discovery Set, $80.00
Le Labo fragrances smell divine. Truly, they are next level scents. They also cost an arm and a leg: the 16.9 fl. oz. bottle will set you back $950.00. This sampler set strikes me as an incredible value, though. You get sample sizes of all fifteen Classic Collection scents, including the ahhh-mazing Santal 33, for about the same price as their smallest size single-scent option.
