I purchased my first ever "puffer" jacket earlier this year in preparation for a trip to Chicago in the dead of winter. Being a life-long California girl, I didn't own any clothing that was remotely appropriate for the -10 degree "freeze of the decade" weather Chicago was experiencing that week. The puffer jacket seemed like the answer. What a great decision! Cute and cozy warm. Too bad I haven't been able to wear my much loved puffer much since Chicago.
Here's a member of the "puffer" family I can comfortably wear in less-than-freezing weather! This Gap Long Puffer Vest is so much fun. Here, the cozy and practical puffer design is turned into a long, sleek vest. The additions of the adjustable d-ring belt, borrowed from classic trench coat design, and the zipper that can be zipped from the top or bottom update this wintertime staple. In warmer climates, this vest is just enough keep you toasty warm as you venture outside on chilly days. Live in place where winter is winter? This vest will make a super warm middle layer that is stylish enough to stay on when you head indoors.
The Gap Long Puffer Vest is available in Snow Cap (shown), Black, and Light Surplus Green (an Army green color), in regular sizes xs- xxl, plus a range of tall and petite sizes.
