As if a best-selling (or rapidly tanking, depending on where you get your news) eponymous clothing line wasn't enough, Lauren Conrad has now teamed up with celeb favorite handbag label Linea Pelle to design a capsule handbag line. The Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle line features a tote, a clutch and a coin purse, each available in Black, Espresso and Olive. Each item is constructed from washed Italian leather with solid brass hardware with satin gold finish.

The collection is small, but it's solid. My pick of the pack is the LC Clutch (left). At 9 1/2" by 6" this clutch is the perfect size for a night out, but the design isn't too over the top for daytime wear. The chain detail adds a toughness and style and I particularly like the brushed satin finish, which keeps the chain from vibing too flashy. Shiny chains can be fabulous if done right (hello Marc Jacobs), but more often come across a little cheap. This LC Clutch does chain detailing right.
