Hot Heels: 5 Printed Pumps You'll Covet for Fall

As I was flipping through this month’s Glamour magazine, the “Pumps on Acid” page inspired me to write this article. I loved the concept, but I do not believe those hot heels represent the full array of available pumps. There are endless options that stimulate the eye. Although the “Pumps on Acid” strain the eye and may prove difficult to pair with your clothing and accessories, keep in mind they are fun. Even your feet should stand out and get the attention occasionally -- diversify!

Spring and summer embraced printed pants, but fall will embrace printed pumps. One of Glamour magazine's features were polka dot pumps, which I found. But, I found a sexier patent leather version. Kate Spade has always been the queen of polka dot pumps, but the patent leather and the high ankle style give these polka dot pumps a total knock out look. Wear this with a full skirt and feel flirty. Polka dots, patent leather and a full skirt -- Can you say “Mad Men?”

Next up, Aldo’s "don’t mess with me" shoes. These shoes are on sale and are fierce. The vibrant colors are in your face, and these shoes won’t let anyone stand a chance when standing next to you. Although I love them, you need to decide whether you can handle something so bold before you decide to buy them. Only you can you decide, but these shoes definitely fit the “Pumps on Acid” description. Gosh, I love that title. Go Glamour magazine!

This next feature is funky but near and dear to my heart. I actually have this pair and, although they are difficult to wear with a dress or skirt, I never feel bad when I scratch them up. I wear mine with skinny jeans and a looser top. I love the way it brightens up my casual jean nights.

Round toe pumps are fading away, but designers still love this style and so do I. It’s a younger look than the pointy toe. The BCBG snake print schizo bright, bold shoes are crazy and stylish. The chain accent around the front of the foot is a proper flair for the exotic, loud shoes.
