I live in San Diego, where it’s never an excruciatingly painful winter, but I’m definitely feeling a little breeze at night, which I’m sort of excited about. That means I get to shop for some sophisticated trench coats to incorporate in my closet. I have always had a secret admiration for trench coats. I’m even slightly jealousy of the celebrities who pull them off so well, such as Angelina Jolie in her leopard trench coat last year, and Jessica Alba, who pulls off almost everything! Obviously these are the classy ladies of Hollywood, and I would like to be part of that glamorous group. I have seen some hot trench coats that need to be snagged for fall.

Trench coats are the classiest attire, while at the same time being incredibly comfortable. Trench coats are the easiest way to go out looking like a superstar, while putting no thought into the under-garments. Trench coats are always belted to show off that sexy waistline, but are conservative enough to wear to any occasion-- just ask Cindy McCain, who wore a stunning green trench on one of her husband’s campaign stops. The list of women who wear the trench coats goes on and on. So, join the list of classy ladies, and find yourself the trench coat that represents your personal style.

I love this trench from Banana Republic. I think they always make their jackets affordable and stunning. I have several jackets from Banana Republic and they have been timeless classics that have lasted me for years. I love the fact that they have this adorable trench that can also be worn as a dress. My favorite thing about this jacket is that it has short-cuffed sleeves, making it perfect for women residing in warmer fall climates. The fact that it’s a double-breasted coat gives it an edgy, classy look. The color of the coat makes it versatile and bold.

The next trench I swooned over was from Nordstrom. This Hilary Radley New York Belted Trench is more suitable for ladies living in colder climates. I think the red version of this trench is absolutely gorgeous. The deep red is simply perfect. I think it makes it look so extravagant and the fluted sleeves seal the deal for me. This looks like a jacket that will go over a thick sweater or can be worn over anything without taking away from its sex appeal.

And lastly, I found an absolute steal! For $29.99, you can snag a must have chocolate color wool coat from Target.com. This coat has received awesome reviews and it looks so simple and classy. I wouldn’t snooze on this opportunity!

Three jackets, three completely different price tags. It’s your choice, but no matter what you choose, and no matter if you live in a climate where it is raining or sunny, the trench coat is going to add a lot of class to your wardrobe. Wearing one will make you feel less exposed and absolutely glamorous at the same time, what a concept!
